Kate Hudson Divorce: Chris Robinson Says Goodbye

Chris Robinson has filed for divorce from Kate Hudson in Los Angeles, three months after their separation, PEOPLE has reported. Robinson is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their son, Ryder, 2, and is not seeking spousal support, according to court documents.

The couple seperated on August 14, 2006, amid rumors that Hudson was romantically involved with her You, Me and Dupree costar Owen Wilson. The actress is currently in Australia shooting Fool’s Gold.

Hudson, 27, and Robinson, 39, were married on New Year’s Eve in 2000, only a few months after they met. After their wedding, Kate took a year off from acting to give their marriage a solid foundation.
