Rebecca Romijn is scheduled to return to evening television.  After starring in Pepper Dennis, which was a lame marketing effort to showcase Romijn’s physique rather than her acting ability or the show’s strong writing, it was uncertain when and if Romijn would return to the small screen.  However, Newstoob has confirmed that Hollywood sources released information regarding Romijn’s addition to the cast of Ugly Betty.  This opportunity comes at a great time for Romijn considering the termination of Pepper Dennis.

This also looks to be a good solid role for Rebecca, one that will allow her to blend into the already likable show.  On Pepper Dennis, Romijn played a workaholic journalist whose life was thrown into chaos when her sister suffered an early mid-life crisis and moved in with her.  Pepper failed to make the slate on the newly-formed CW—the network formed after the merger of the WB and UPN.

On Ugly Betty, Romijn plays an executive within the midst of a company takeover.  America Ferrera stars as ugly Bettery on the hit TV show.
