The Singing Office – Coming to a TV Near You

Listen up Rock Star wannabes and karaoke pros out there.  CBS has come up with a new singing reality show called The Singing Office. The show will have two host and feature two companies each episode. Each host will – with the help of their own singing and dancing coach – select absolute amateurs within two companies and work with them to deliver amazing performances! In The Singing Office, it’s all about unrecognized talent… in the respective companies! The show will feature no one with the ambition to become an idol or to imagine they can sing better than Whitney Houston or Pavarotti. It’s about the battle between the companies and… the hosts! Which of the two manages to win the episode with the best act?

This reality show will feature – wait for it - office workers turned into rock stars. Who will reach the Grand Final? The accountants? Or the entertaining construction workers… Check out this entertaining feel good prime time show which will put a smile on the faces of your viewers. Hilarious scenes, emotional situations, blood sweat and tears… It’s all there in… The Singing Office!

Just what the world needs, another pseudo-celeb hosted game show.  They had a hit with Regis and Millionaire, but they seriously should have let it end there.  So what do you think the odds of this surviving past the pilot?  I agree… pretty much zilch.

Also, kust when you have forgotten about The Growing Pains dad Alan Thicke, he pops up again, to tenatively host The Singing Office.  I just don't know if this show is going to grab audiences, but we will see.  If the best they can find is someone of K-Fed caliber, this show is doomed.
