LYCOS, Inc. recently released announced The LYCOS 50′s annual list of top 50 search terms for the year 2006. The LYCOS 50 is a weekly list of the most popular people, places and things LYCOS users search for every day on the internet. The 2006 year-end list is based on user searches from Jan. 1, 2006 through Nov. 25, 2006. 

I must say, a few of the top searched terms are definitely not want you would expect.  In the area of most searched men in 2006, believe it or not, the top spot was held by former Idol and recording artist Clay Aiken! Of course, a couple of good reasons made Pamela Anderson the most searched female.
