Will Ferrell Stars in Blades of Glory

Get ready for Will Ferrell and co-star Jon Heder in their new film "Blades of Glory," which opens in theaters on Friday. In the movie, their characters play rival figure skaters (Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy, respectively) who are kicked out of their sport, only to make a triumphant return as a pair. Should be hilarious if you like slaptick and stupid as these guys put the bone in Zamboni.

In real life, Ferrell, 39, and Heder, 29, are both married with children — and each brings an innocence to even the oddest comedy. But "Blades of Glory" nearly didn't happen after Heder broke his ankle early in production. As a result, schedules were rearranged and disaster averted. Now after the fact, Ferrell and Heder can laugh about the absurdity of their film.
