Joy Bryant, Cedric the Entertainer and James Earl Jones have joined Martin Lawrence in The Better Man, a film directed by Malcolm D. Lee, informs Variety. Bryant has the femme lead role as Lawrence’s high-maintenance galpal, a former Survivor contestant who accompanies the talk show star to visit his family in a Southern home town. Jones plays his dad and Cedric the Entertainer landed the role as Lawrence’s childhood rival.
