Alyssa Milano Cast in Pathology

Alyssa Milano, Lauren Lee Smith, Johnny Whitworth, and Milo Ventimiglia have been cast in the movie “Pathology,” which is being directed by Marc Schoelermann and produced by “Crank” filmmakers. The story apparently centers on a young intern (Ventimiglia) who is studying pathology at a university hospital and encounters an attractive but murderous group of colleagues who have put together a deadly game to see who among them can commit the perfect murder. The others compete to determine the cause of death. Alyssa will play Ventimiglia’s hot fiancee.

The movie is being released by MGM in the U.S., but will be presented to international buyers at the Festival de Cannes market in that takes place during May, when production is also scheduled to start. Ventimiglia, who plays Peter Petrelli on “Heroes,” was most recently seen on the big screen in “Rocky Balboa.” Alyssa Milano, who starred in the TV series “Charmed,” recently finished production on the indipendent feature “The Blue Hour.”
