Carrie Underwood Delivers on Idol Gives Back

Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Earth, Bono,Wind & Fire, Il Divo, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Josh Groban, Jack Black, Helen Mirren, Rascal Flatts, Quincy Jones Annie Lennox were all on hand at the ”American Idol” fund-raiser special “Idol Gives Back” last night. Carrie, of course, brought the goods and both looked and sounded great! “Idol” didn’t release any pictures regarding the fund-rasing special, so I posted this great picture of Carrie during her performance at the American Music Awards.

“Idol Gives Back” was intended to raise awareness and funds for Charity Projects Entertainment Fund and other organizations that provide relief programs to help children and young people in extreme poverty in America and Africa. In addition to callers donating money to the fund, corporate sponsors also made donations based on the total numbers of callers. A whopping 70 million calls were recived!
