Denise Richards and Richie Sambora Split

According to her rep, Denise Richards and Richie Sambora broke up about two months ago!Although they were no longer a couple, last month they both attended the funeral in New Jersey for Sambora’s father, who died of lung cancer. A close source tells People:

“Denise ended things but wanted to be there for him as a friend. They did break up about a month prior to Richie’s dad’s death. She came to the funeral to support him. He needs to focus on his daughter Ava and wishes Denise and her kids all the best.”

Denise, 36, and Richie, 47, began dating in April 2006 after splitting from their respective spouses. Richards’s four-year marriage to Charlie Sheen officially ended in November; Sambora and Heather Locklear finalized their divorce in April.
