Ace Young to Release New Album

Ace Young is getting ready to release his debut album. If you will recall, Ace finished 7th on season five of “American Idol” and in my opinion wasn’t all that great as a singer or performer. However, he has signed a deal with S Curve Records (Fountains of Wayne, Joss Stone) for the yet-untitled disc, scheduled to hit shelves in September and be preceded by a single sometime during the summer. Ace, who helped write pal Chris Daughtry’s first hit, “It’s Not Over,” said he’s writing or co-writing all the songs on his album as well as collaborating on songs with “everyone,” though he didn’t drop any specific names.

Most of Ace’s fans are very excited by the release of his CD, so thank you for the mention. However, your negative personal opinion of Ace is not necessary and unappreciated.
