Madonna Fakes Playing the Guitar?

Madonna is getting some bad publicity out of the recent Live Earth concert overseas. Here’s what’s up. As it turns out, Madonna, who is not known at all for playing a musical instrument, has been taking guitar lessons. Well, during the performance of “Ray of Light” during Live Earth, she threw on a guitar and played along. However, rumors suggests that Madonna wasn’t really playing at all! Watch the video (profanity).

 

The way I see it, there are really only 3 possibilities. Either Madonna played the song, they didn’t turn her amp on, or she was never hooked up to begin with.

    FYI… Madonna has been playing the guitar for seven years now. She’s played guitar on her last three world tours, at numorous shorter promotional concerts, and on British and American talk shows where she has been the musical guest. Her first public guitar playing was WAY back in 2000, when she played her hit “Don’t Tell Me” on David Letterman’s show.

    Other songs she has played guitar on in concert include: Secret, La Isla Bonita, Material Girl, Burning Up, Nothing Fails, Paradise (Not For Me), and many others.

    Bottom line: She was playing the guitar. It was the same version of Ray of Light that she played guitar on for like sixty dates of her recent Confessions Tour.

    Jeez.
