Oprah Winfrey Is The Highest Paid in TV Land

Oprah, Oprah, Oprah, how rich is thy Oprah? I don’t know for sure, but I do know that Oprah Winfrey, host and supervising producer of “The Oprah Winfrey Show“, earns an estimated $260 million a year, according to a list in TV Guide magazine’s July issue. Music producer Simon Cowell, the contentious British judge of “American Idol“, placed a distant second to Winfrey, with $45 million for his role on the hit show and other projects. Although Simon finished second, he only made a meager 17% of Oprah’s first place TV salary. Whoa!
