Kiefer Sutherland Drunk Driving?

Kiefer Sutherland had a bad yesterday. The well-known star of the TV drama “24″ was arrested for investigation of misdemeanor drunken driving in Los Angeles early Tuesday while still on probation from a similar 2004 conviction. Ouch! Kiefer failed a field sobriety test after he was stopped for making an illegal U-turn in shortly after 1 a.m., a police said.

Sutherland tested over California’s legal blood alcohol limit of .08 percent, Officer Karen Smith said, but police declined to reveal his actual level. He was booked for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol and spent about three hours in jail before he posted $25,000 bail and was released. I kind of thought they should have left him in there for an even 24 hours, but that would be a bit cruel, huh?

Sutherland was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 16, Maiberger said.
