Kurt Cobain Movie

The latest news on the Kurt Cobain movie:  It’s going to be based on “Heavier Than Heaven,” the 2001 biography of the late “Nirvana” singer written by Charles Cross, and will the executive producer will be no other than Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love, according to Variety magazine.

Screenwriter David Benioff is on board to write the script for the yet-untitled film and Universal Pictures is funding the project. Although we know it’s going to happen, the producers have neither addressed whether they have the rights to Nirvana’s music for the film nor which parts of Cobain’s life it will cover. It would just be wrong to not have Cobain’s songs accompany the film.
