Kanye West Pulls Out Early on Victoria

Due to the death of his mother, Donda West, earlier this week, Kanye West has pulled out of performing at the 2007 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that tapes tonight at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood (and airs on December 4 on CBS).

Just to get you up to speed on the situation - Donda West, 58, died Saturday at a Los Angeles hospital, a day after undergoing plastic surgery by Dr. Jan Adams, who we’ve found out has a sketchy past. The coroner says an official cause of death won’t be known for six to eight weeks pending toxicology tests, but for now described it as “complications of surgery.”

Dr. Adams has confirmed that he performed a tummy tuck and breast reduction on Donda West, but he claims her death was not caused by the surgery. However, Dr. Jan Adams has a history of botched surgeries and malpractice lawsuits to his credit.
