   I have been boycotting Oprah since the day she came out to endorse Obama.
   I used to watch her every single day…for years. No more.
   I cannot believe that Oprah would not support a more qualified and experienced woman who is well known to be a champion of civil rights, in order to support a man who is a member of her RACIST church.
   Had I known about Oprah’s RACIST, anti-semitic, homophobic, anti-american pastor and his adoration of Farrakhan, I would have abandoned her a long time ago.

   I have noticed Oprah is geared toward black issues for ever, she is after all black.I find that natural. I used to enjoy the books she recommended but did notice a predominance of black themes,again she is black so natural.But something is now more troubling,the school thing was obvious,there is not one poor white or biracial little girl in all of South Africa who deserves to attend? It was not about women not having access to quality education it was a racial thing. Then next thing that bothered me was this, Oprah has never used her fame and money for any political candidate, until the candidate was a man with some black blood.If she had spoke up during the last election for Kerry we may not have had four more years of death and destruction. She is obviously well aware of her power as she has chosen to use it to get a black man elected but she chose not to when it could have ended a war that has killed thousands many of them black as well.She tell us that she cares dearly about women’s issues but what about the plight of women in Iraq? They are not black but as this war continued four more years they are watched their children die for lack of medical care,food and water how many of them died in the last four years? They live in a male dominated culture in which they are mere chattel.I guess what I’m saying is that you as a black woman have a right to look at skin color as a sole criteria for philanthropy. It is your money.But have your choices changed things? Little black girls and white girls are not learning to live with each other as it is a segregated school.They will most likely choose to stay segregated as adults. If Obama is elected we will always know you helped him not because you didn’t want war and he could stop it but because he was partially black.

   White people, who somehow feel responsibile for what a bunch of Southern plantation owners did to blacks, go out of their way to help black people. All the while blacks are soaking up all this help with the thought that some day they will be in the driver’s seat and then they’ll show us white people what it was like. The United States, for that matter the world, is competitive but stupid white people constantly give to blacks so they can be more competitive. How stupid can white people get? Did you ever get anything from a black person? Nothing but disinformation, bad service, and if you’re stupid enough to be a woman who marrys one of these blacks maybe some real abuse, like only a blackman can hand out. This is real life and they view all white people as the enemy, with their sights on the more powerful. You had better wake up soon they are determined to win it all. Don’t give anybody anything; make them earn it. It is not only OK it is your right to get all you can get and you don’t have to apologize to blacks, or browns, or yellows, or anyone else. My advice, stay away from black people.

   I have believed this for a long time…….Black people can have special breakfast meetings at a school board convention in NY State……….they can have a Negro college………and no one berates them or calls them racist. What is wrong with this picture cause whites sure couldn’t do this without much media coverage!! Where is the equallity?? Quite making out like you are special, hounded, disrespected, or anything else cause of the color of your skin. Stand up and make something of yourself and forget what color you are. Many have done that and I know a lot of black people that are very much JUST human.

Imagine special classes ” Black America” or more importantly Black History” ,ever notice no white will challenge a ” Black Historian” No white man has ever exposed that the reason for the disparagement in the numbers in the % of our population that is why are the numbers of black males 80% in our prisons while their % of black people in the USA is 12%.Its not the “Police” as they used to use for a excuse ,or our courts,. why because the large cities Chicago, New Orleans, Louisiana, and many more are run by Blacks, the Mayors the city Counsel the Police, the Guards. Perhaps whites are secretly planting bomb collars on black males and make them go shoot other Black Brothers?
   Are arrests down in Harlem? how about Murders. Rapes? why, one would think that the Black areas crime would be down because it is run by blacks?, again Judges,Police Captians Lieutenents Sargents Councilmen,BUT NO ONE HAS THE BALLS TO BRINGT THESE THINGS UP.     Honey you need to take an African-American course, watch Roots, or get a African-American friend cuz you obviously are not exposed to Black ppl. If you were you would understand the struggle of African-Americans. Slavery had societal and psychological consequences that passed down to every generation, and then after slavery, with inequalities within laws governing jobs, housing, and ect led to even larger gaps that African Americans had to hurdle and still do today. African-American were not able to acquire wealth and certain opportunities to better their lives and that gap passes down to generations. If we don’t out for each other history clearly shows that no one else will. And you used that comment about Oprah out of context or you just don’t understand. I’ve listed to Oprah talk about the “white people that work for her,” she uses that mainly as motivation, black ppl constantly work for other ppl especially whites and the aspect of an African American having ppl white or black working for them is monumental especially whites for Oprah because her grandmother told her when she was little “find some good white ppl to work for” and she has used that statement her whole life as motivation to do the opposite.

    There is no question in my mind that Obama is racist, as is Oprah.

    With regard to a black president, I am perfectly happy to have a black president who will not seek to disadvantage every other race in order to create advantages for his own black race.

    Colin Powell or Condoleeza Rice would be such an even-handed president. Obama Would not.

    If a person walks into any government office in this nation (especially federal government offices), they will find that the overwhelming majority of government employees are black.

    If the President is black, it will be incumbent upon him or her to ensure that whites are proportionally represented in government jobs.

    If Obama is elected, I believe whites should demand proportional hiring to government jobs, which have been unfairly apportioned in favor of blacks.

    Reverse (black vs. white) descrimination is the rule in our federal government jobs.

    A fair black president would be welcome. A racist one, such as Obama, would not.

    I agree with so much that you all have said. I don’t know what’s perpetuating this hate towards white people from blacks. I hope that it can be appeased as more and more black people get educated, but at the same time this education is often at the cost of more deserving students who are not black. I have never been racist and have had many black friends in my life, but attending a state university for 2 years now, had really pushed me towards the other side. So many people I knew from high school who had very good grades, SAT scores, AP classes and were in various magnet programs could not get into my school. At the same time I knew plenty of people who I knew had horrible grades and low scores and are walking around campus, and happen to be black. There are various black only fraternities that are constantly hanging out together on campus, and I have experienced reverse racism too many times from black people who act like they deserve to be at the school more than I do. It’s absolutely ridiculous all the stuff that goes on, and not to even mention the campus bus drivers that they hire that are constantly racist towards white students and will just close the door in your face when you get to the bus stop and drive away (sometimes shrugging his or her shoulders like they don’t know how to open the door). I could go on and on. I am all for the betterment of a race and giving people opportunities, but I think if that should be done it shoudl be done on a personal basis, not if you’re black you’re automatically in. So many hardworking students do not get accepted to schools they deserve to be attending because of this, not to mention that it’s unfair because there are people of all races who are underprivileged.

    the thing is…it’s not like the reason her grandma or any other person today who is black works underneath someone else (who may or may not be) is because of racism- it’s because they have no other career. There are plenty of black people who have careers and all they have to do is stay in school, it’s pretty much given to them with affirmative action and all.
    And if you really think about it, all the different races(asian,indian,jews etc) and groups of white people (like german and eastern europeans)who immigrated to the US have all faced racism, discrimination, and struggles upon coming here, but what have they done? They worked hard and made their kids work hard in schools. One of the reasons it took these people less time to become successful and thus eliminate the discrimination against them, is that they were already civilized and educated in their own countries. The Africans that were brought here as slaves were nowhere near civilized back in Africa, running around naked in the wild and living in mud huts–which is btw what they still do, the ones that weren’t brought here as slaves.
    That is not to say that I condone the slavery part, but the slaves were also captured and sold to Americans by their African brothers as someone else mentioned–and the whites that did these horrible things are in ano way related to any of us Americans today, and most of the white people that immigrated to America did so after slavery had ended (so it’s ridiculous to hate today’s white Americans for it).
    Black people can somewhat still try to blame white people for the slavery part, but there is no reason at all that they should blame us for the poverty and the kind of jobs they work. One, they are given every opportunity in the world to get out of it, and 2 it’s not our fault and they shouldn’t even be given the ridiculous affirmative actions and such. It’s not like they were all doctors back in Africa and we took it away from them and made them work at McDonald’s here- it’s just ridiculous to me and Oprah’s a total idiot to say such things. The people she was referring to-as the white people working for her- are all people who are like show producers and such (wow that’s totally the same as her uneducated grandmother cleaning someone’s house because she doesn’t know how to do anything else). And just the fact that Oprah is so rich and powerful, is because WHITE people watch her show and buy her stuff, totally showing that white people aren’t even racist and making her black strife remarks and attitude completely pointless. (unless the point is to be racist towards white people who are paying for her lifestyle-so she can go and spend it all only on black people charities and things). ridiculous

    I have believed that Oprah was racist since her incident a few years ago at Hermes in Paris. She got mad that a retail store would not stay open late for her so she could shop, because the store was having a charity event!, then made the comment that the only reason they refused to stay open for her was because she’s black. Get over yourself Oprah, there are more people that don’t care who you are. I knew at that moment she was a liar and hateful towards other races outside of her own. I don’t trust her or her ways of flashing her cash around, it’s like she’s trying to buy everyone. I also don’t trust Obama, even more after Oprah endorsed him. I think people need to wake up and realize that neither of these people can be trusted and that they have a hidden racist agenda. They have both been caught enough making statements that prove they are racist. I didn’t do anything against anyone or any race that should make them hate me simply because I exist.     Its this kind of racism that sets this country back. The THEY you are refering to are humans that deserve all the same rights that you have. If you knew anything about American history, you would know that nothing was handed to them. THEY had to fight for the basic rights that THEY have now because of people like you. And its obvious from your comments that you consider those basic rights too much.

    I think that most of you have a problem because you consider blacks a threat. A threat to what, I can’t possibly think of. Are you afraid that it’s pay back time?

    I don’t know if this letter will ever get to you but I had to write and share my feelings with you. Over the years, I have always admired you and have only dreamed about coming to your show. You have educated us on so many subjects like health, worldly issues, abuse etc. I would always watch your show and would just be in amazement. I truly admired you and thought you were one of the strongest women I have ever seen. I never saw color with you. I saw you as a woman and I mean that truly. I admired you for your accomplishments and natural ability to speak and the equal love for people that I thought you had.

    However during this whole election process my feelings for you have deminished and frankly I never want to watch your show again and truly hope the people who put you in the position you now hold will bring you back down. I know that is harsh to say but you have shown me and olthers your true feelings of white people. This election is all about race for you and a good majority of the black community. If I hear one more time “We did it” , “this is historic”, “this is about equality for people of color” etc etc.. I am going to scream.

    This election never was or should have been about race!!! This is about our country and worldly issuses that we are dealing with and where we are headed as a country. Some where along the line it became about race. A major majority of the black and hispanic community did not care about Obama’s reputation, past, religious beliefs, how he feels about the american flag or Anthem to just mention a few. They just wanted a black president. It was all about making a point. I do not care that Obama is black one bit and I mean that wilth alll my heart. I don’t care if our President is white, black, hispanic, Oriental, male or female. It was about charactor, experience, beliefs and ability for me and should be for all Americans but it wasn’t. It was all about putting a black man in office to prove a point and for more restitution for slavery period!!! If white people acted or said half the things that have been said by the black community we would be in a civil war right now. I can’t even imagine the riots, law suits or division this world would be in right now if we ran around like we were on fire screaming McCain’s name like he was the second coming of Jesus much less saying “Yeah we did it”, “this is historic” etc….Or how about white people going to homeless shelters or drug shelters and recruiting people to vote. You going to sit there and tell me those people were not influenced on who to vote for and you had a hand in that. When will this revenge stop. This became a racial campaign plain and simple and you used your power, ability and money to fuel the fire.
    I am beyond disappointed in you and will not support your show, magazine or you in any way again. You are a fake and hide behind your show and money.
