Dr. Phil McGraw said Britney Spears may have been released from the hospital on Saturday, but  he says Brit still needs psychological help after they met and talked in the hospital prior to her release. Dr. Phil went to the hospital to help the troubled star. After he left, he stated to the press:

“My meeting with Britney… leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.”

Medical center officials have had no comment on Britney, and authorities have given no full explanantion of why Britney was hospitalized. A Los Angeles police spokeswoman said Friday that officers determined that paramedics “needed to be called” but it was unclear why.
