Lily Allen and Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers announced last month that they were expecting child, but the unfortunate parents-to-be suffered a miscarriage. A spokesman said in a statement today:

“She and her partner, Ed Simons, will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”
