Heath Ledger was just found dead at 3:35PM Eastern in one of his Soho residences.  The story is still developing and the police say it doesn’t look as if it were a crime.

MSNBC is reporting that the actor was found surrounded by pills and the New York Times is reports:

A masseuse arrived at his apartment and was let in the door by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom door and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They attempted to wake him, and when they couldn’t they called 911.
