Kim’s in Australia for a modeling project, and she tweeted this photo with the caption, “Pic from my shoot yesterday…good kitty cat!” The pic resulted in nasty comments from fans and this reprimand from PETA rep Amanda Schinke.

“Kim Kardashian isn’t the only person who mistakenly thinks that because a mother cat picks up her kittens by the scruff of the neck that a supportive hand under the rump isn’t needed. Some cats prefer to be cradled, while others might like sitting up in your arms or being draped over them.” Any cat owner will tell you—don’t try this at home!
