Erin’s Scary Stalker

Security has been beefed up on “Dancing with the Stars,” due to the wacko who’s been sending threatening messages to ESPN’s Erin Andrews. A man in Newport News, VA, has been sending the violent e-mails via DirecTV’s “The Dan Patrick Show.” On March 29, the man sent this message: “I would like to see if Erin Andrews can dance her way through a hail of gunfire. Better yet I would love to shoot her with a Barrett rifle. Get the pun — her stalker was mr. Barrett and the barrett rifle is an ultra expensive 50 cl. rifle with a range over a mile.” The producers of “Dancing” are taking this very seriously, and are searching every car entering the CBS lot on taping days We’re hoping the FBI nabs this guys soon! Brits Give Up Clothes for Charity

A bunch of good-hearted English celebs took it all off for a good cause. Camilla Dallerup (above) from the TV show “Strictly Come Dancing” was one of the famous Brits to pose nude for the Give Up Clothes For Good campaign, which encourages people to donate clothes they no longer wear to aid Cancer Research UK, which fights childhood cancer. Others pictured include TV presenter Jasmine Harman, “Live From Studio Five” host Kate Walsh, “Watchdog” host Julia Bradbury, former Atomic Kitten singer Liz McLarnon and former “Eastenders” actress Lucy Benjamin. Some dudes posed for it, too, but do we care?

What Were the “Idol” Voters Thinking?!

After last night, I swear that the majority of this year’s “American Idol” voters are 12- year-old girls. That’s the only explanation for cuddly soul man Michael Lynche having to be rescued from the guillotine by the judges after receiving the fewest votes, while pubescent Aaron Kelly, teen dream Tim Urban and still-searching-for-an-identity Katie Stevens were safe. This decision by the judges could have major effects on the rest of the season. Using the only save so early could mean that promising candidates like Siobhan Magnus will likely go home too soon, while Tim stays way too long because middle school girls with fast-texting thumbs will keep their faves on board. Next week, two contestants will go home—definitely. Unless they pull miraculous performances out of nowhere, it should be Aaron and Andrew. Of course, Crystal Bowersox is almost certain to take the whole thing at the end, because she’s the only one with a real sense of who she is, plus charisma to burn. But if the hippie chick should have a bad week, there’s nothing the judges can do to keep her.

Demi Moore certainly has a figure worth obsessing over! In the May issue of Elle UK, the 47-year-old actress dishes about her bod, her career and her man, Ashton Kutcher. On her body: “I had an extreme obsession with my body. I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over. But it never lasted and ultimately it didn’t bring me anything but temporary happiness. Does being thin resolve anything? No. The irony is that when I abandoned that desire to dominate my body, it actually became the body that I always wanted. But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless.” On the plastic surgery: “In truth, I wish there was a little bit less curiosity and fascination with how I look, whether it’s good or bad. I understand it, though, and I know it’s not something I can control. I only hope it’s serving some sort of purpose…. It feels like school-yard name-calling a lot of the time. It hurts. You know what? Maybe one day I’ll go under the knife. It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I’ve spent on plastic surgery.” I hope she’s not trying to convince us that she’s never had any plastic surgery. Buzz Off—“Dancing” Grounds Astronaut

Buzz Aldrin had no trouble walking on the moon, but he never could get his moves right on “Dancing with the Stars.” The octogenarian hero was the second contestant to be sent home from this season, after his wimpy waltz failed to impress judges or viewers. His companion in the bottom two was something of a surprise—“Bachelor” Jake Pavelka, who had scored respectably in the middle of the leaderboard. Maybe the TV audience is just plain tired of Pavelka after an entire drama-filled season of “The Bachelor.” Kate Gosselin still can’t dance, and probably won’t bother to learn because she labors under the delusion she can do no wrong. Pray that whoever’s voting for her gets their phone service knocked out for a couple of hours next week by a late-season storm so we can finally put partner Tony Dovolani out of his misery. Nicole Scherzinger was penalized for lifting Derek Hough, but the pair put on the most entertaining dance of the evening, with a number that could have come straight out of an old MGM musical. Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews are definitely giving Nicole some competition, while Pam Anderson and Niecy Nash held their own. Did I mention I really want to be rid of Kate?

Jim and Jenny’s Tweet Breakup

I suppose this is the way you announce this sort of thing in 2010. This afternoon, comic actor Jim Carrey Tweeted his split with Jenny McCarthy, saying “Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I’m grateful 4 the many blessings we’ve shared and I wish her the very best! S’okay! ?;^>.” McCarthy confirmed the breakup a few minutes later, adding,  “Im so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart.” This comes as something of a shock, since the pair seemed totally happy together when Jim’s daughter Jane gave him a grandchild in February.

Nicollette Sues “Housewives” Honcho

Vampy vixen Edit Britt has been dead for nearly a year, but Nicollette Sheridan is determined to avenge her demise. The actress filed suit Monday against “Desperate Housewives” creator Marc Cherry for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. Sheridan claims Cherry attacked her for questioning his script, then launched a vendetta against her for reporting him to ABC. When the network refused to take action, Cherry killed off Edie Britt. OK, why did Sheridan take a whole year to file this? And don’t the producers of TV series have the right to hire and fire characters? Jesse Checks (Back) into Rehab, Sandra Checks Out Lawyers

The saddest thing about this photo is that it’s less than a month old. On March 7, Sandra Bullock was basking in the glory of her Oscar win and gushing to Barbara Walters about how husband Jesse James “had her back.” Only a few days later, Bullock’s world collapsed as news came out about the first of her husband’s infidelities. Since then, the actress had been in hiding, while more tawdry revelations surface about James’ string of less-than-classy mistresses. Last week, James checked into the Sierra Tucson clinic for treatment of sex addiction, but abruptly left after just a few days, upset because his estranged wife refused to take his calls. Today, the serial cheater checked back into Sierra Tucson in a last-ditch attempt to save his marriage. But is it too little, too late? RadarOnline reports that Bullock is getting ready to serve her cheating spouse with divorce papers and has no interest in getting back with him. How could she, after the public humiliation he’s put her through? Bullock has long been known as “America’s Sweetheart,” and her stardom has been based as much on her likeability as her acting. Would the public turn against her if she went back to a man with such an unsavory reputation? Right now, the majority is on her side, but reconciliation with James could change that. Is she preparing to divorce him because it’s what she wants, or because everyone around her tells her she has to? Apart from his kids, who are bound to suffer from this, the saddest part of the whole debacle is that Bullock is bound to still have feelings for her husband. After all, only a month ago, he was the man she loved.
