Elizabeth Hasselbeck of “The View” has put her foot in her mouth again—and had to apologize for it. On Tuesday’s show, the hyper-critical so-host made a nasty crack about ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews, who was recently the victim of a stalker who took sneaky nude vids of her and posted them online.
Apparently, Hasselbeck thinks the “Dancing with the Stars” contestant is not dressing as demurely as a good little stalking victim should. Her comments were: “In light of what happened and as a legal [matter] — and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room. I mean, in some way if I’m him, I’m like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’” Not surprisingly, Hasselbeck offered an awkward apology the next day.
Yeah, Erin’s costumes have been pretty revealing, but she looks great in them! Shouldn’t she be allowed to wear whatever she likes, despite what’s happened to her in the past?
