Just before jetting off to Cannes to promote her upcoming film about porn star Linda Lovelace, Lindsay Lohan was interviewed at LAX about her future plans. The wayward actress slammed her dad, TMZ and haters in general. Lindsay claimed to be in compliance with her alcohol education classes, even though she’s still short a few sessions and has a court date this week. She’d better hightail it back to L.A. and get caught up, or she could be going to jail!

“Iron Man 2” Holds on to #1 Spot

Robert Downey Jr.’s “Iron Man 2” is still king of the box office, fighting off a challenge from Russell Crowe in “Robin Hood.” “Iron Man 2” raked in $49 million in its second weekend, while “Robin Hood” debuted with $36 million. Amanda Seyfried’s chick flick “Letters to Juliet” came in third with $13.2 million.

The Kardashians Take Bikini Brand

No one loves skimpy swimsuits as much as the curvaceous Kardashian sisters, so who’s more qualified to design bikinis? Kim, Kourtney and Khloé have partnered with L.A.’s Beach Bunny Swimwear to launch a new line of sexy suits. Too bad the gals didn’t model the suits themselves!

“Heroes” Cancelled

It’s been a bad week for long-running TV shows. Yesterday the news broke that NBC had cancelled “Law and Order,” then today Deadline Hollywood announced that “Heroes” is getting the boot. The series fell victim to that familiar combo of low ratings and high production costs. Unlike the surprising demise of “L&O,” this cancellation had been rumored for some time. I just hope all those new shows NBC has waiting in the wings will be able to please more viewers than the old favorites they’ve dropped.

Miss Louisiana Takes the Lead

The competition for Miss USA is heating up, and the swimsuit round Wednesday night resulted in the emergence of several front-runners. The gambling experts at bookmaker.com are now predicting that Sara Brooks from Louisiana will take the tiara! But she has some close runners-up in Miss Massachusetts Lacey Wilson, Miss Kansas Bethany Gerber and Miss Alabama Audrey Moore. Early favorite Nicole Mchele Johnson of California has dropped to fifth place. We’ll all find out who wins Sunday night.

NBC Cancels “Law and Order”

The venerable TV Series “Law and Order” may have brought its last bad guy to justice. Deadline Hollywood has revealed that NBC has decided not to renew the show for its 21st season. Reasons cited are declining ratings and a strong slate of new shows. “Law and Order” is tied with “Gunsmoke” for the longest-running drama on TV with 20 seasons each. This is pretty shocking, since NBC had previously indicated that they would be bringing back the original “L&O” for one more year and are launching yet another spinoff, “Law & Order: Los Angeles,” for next season. NBC has so far refused to comment.

Claudia’s a Supermodel Mom

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer may be about to drop her third bambino any day now, but she’s still smokin’ hot in these shots for the June issue of German Vogue. The mag’s Editor-in-chief Christiane Arp says, “There are not many women who have been photographed as much as Claudia has, but she has never before been shown in so many different ways.” Any way they show Claudia works for us!
