Her pop group Girls Aloud is taking a break, and Sarah Harding is using the time off to pursue her own projects. Sarah refuses to conform or deny rumors of a solo album, but does admit she wants to do more acting. She revealed, “I’ve been to some castings, I went to the Cannes Film Festival, and I’ve had some meetings with producers. But I’m not going to charge in, I’m going for the softly-softly approach. I’d rather do smaller parts that are good than jump in with a lead role, which I probably wouldn’t do justice to.” Sounds like the smart thing to do, since we’ve seen too many singers try acting but find their success didn’t transfer to the silver screen.
