“Mad Men” vamp Christina Hendricks covers the September issue of British GQ, and talks about her character’s sexy clothes and the fake cigs she smokes on the show. “I adore the incredibly tight clothing! My own wardobe’s changed – I’ve streamlined a little bit and definitely learnt from Joan’s sleekiness and tailoring. As for the herbal cigarettes, for the most part I don’t smoke as much as the guys do. I’m usually just strutting around a bit more so I don’t actually have to be inhaling it. I’m lucky because I do have scenes where the cigarettes work beautifully to punctuate certain things I’m saying.” When Christina is strutting around in those form-fitting dresses, it’s hard to keep your mind on what she’s saying!

Lady Gaga gets naked in the new issue of Vanity Fair, and talks about her crappy love life. The pop diva stated, “I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina.” Uh, yeah—that’s weird all right. She added, “I’m quite celibate now; I don’t really get time to meet anyone.” The singer does find time to indulge her fondness for cocaine. “I won’t lie; it’s occasional. And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year.” Gaga certainly doesn’t make the rock star lifestyle sound like much fun.

Lindsay Will Have to Wait to Play Lovelace

Production on “Inferno,” Lindsay Lohan’s biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace, will have to wait until the actress finishes her 90 days in rehab, but at least we can enjoy these photos of LiLo getting into character. Photographer Tyler Shields, who shot the promo posters for “Inferno,” released more pics from the session. Lindsay was released from an L.A. county jail early Monday morning and immediately whisked off to UCLA for treatment.

The 19-year-old, who already stars in the campaign for Seafolly’s new Limited Edition collection, was spotted in New York, meeting with reps for the lingerie giant. “Inception” Holds Off “Schmucks” for Third Week on Top

Leonardo DiCaprio’s thriller “Inception” held off three newcomers to maintain its hold at the top of the weekend box office. The Steve Carell comedy “Dinner for Schmucks” brought in $23.3M, but couldn’t top the $27.5M “Inception” made in its third weekend. The Angelina Jolie starrer “Salt” took third place with $19.2M, while  “Despicable Me” took in $15.5M in week four. “Cats & Dogs 3D: Kitty Galore” opened with a disappointing $12.5M, probably due to its stupidly scary ad campaign. Zac Efron’s “Charlie St. Cloud” opened at #6 with $12.1M, showing his “High School Musical” fans aren’t that interested in seeing him do drama. Holdovers “Toy Story 3,” “Grownups,” “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” and “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” rounded out the top ten. The only threat to “Inception’s” hold on the box office next weekend comes from Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in “The Other Guys.”

Idol Shakeup! Ellen and Kara are Out, J.Lo is In!

The last few days have seen some major changes at “American Idol.” Simon Cowell’s departure has been known for awhile now, and numerous celebs have been mentioned as possible replacements. Then Thursday Ellen DeGeneres, who never seemed comfortable in her role as a judge, confirmed the rumors that she would be leaving the show after one season. The TV host Tweeted: “Dim the lights … I’ve voted myself off American Idol. It was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be.” While Ellen’s departure seems to have been voluntary, the same can’t be said for Kara DioGuardi—she was unceremoniously given the boot. Although the deal is still in the works, look for singer/actress Jennifer Lopez to join the “Idol’s” panel next season. Still on board is Randy Jackson, and the front-runner for the third judge’s chair is Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler. The flashy frontman is currently in L.A. meeting with “Idol” producers. Industry insiders expect the new lineup to be in place on Monday, when Fox will present their fall shows to the Television Critics Association’s fall convention. It remains to be seen whether these changes will help the aging show’s faltering ratings.
