Esti Ginzburg has been modeling since the age of eight, but did not let her busy career get in the way of her duty to her country. When Esti was drafted into the Israeli army in 2009, she went gladly and has spoken out against another model that ducked her duty—Bar Refeali, who managed to slip out of military service by briefly marrying a family friend. Gorgeous and outspoken—Esti’s quite a lady! This is her third appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and definitely her sexiest! Posing for the SI Swimsuit Issue was Fun for Alyssa Miller

20-year-old Alyssa Miller is a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue “rookie” this year, and she totally enjoyed the experience. Alyssa told an interviewer, “It was incredible. The whole thing… Sports Illustrated they really take you in under their wing. They take care of you so well, treat you as part of the family immediately. I had the time of my life on my photo shoot in Fiji. It was just so much fun. Dancing around on the beach, laughing… it’s the easiest job in the world. It was so much fun, incredible. Kenza Fourati Makes Her Rookie Appearance in SI

The 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue features the first appearance by exotic Kenza Fourati, but it’s not likely to be the last. The Tunisian brunette has been modeling since the age of 15, when she came in third in the 2002 Elite Model Look competition. Irina Shayk Tells What It’s Like to Be the SI Cover Girl

This has been the most exciting week of Irina Shayk’s life, as the sultry Russian stunner found out Monday night that she was the new cover girl for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The news was revealed on the David Letterman show, as Irina sat in a room with nine other models that had posed for this issue. Irina told the Huffington Post, “We were at that time in the green room – and then, little by little, we could see the fabric slowly falling, showing first the Sports Illustrated logo…then…the rest is history! It was a roller coster of emotions. I had butterflies in the stomach. No, I’m lying — I was?sick to my stomach. You have to understand, I come from such a small village in Russia — it’s not even in the map. Will Brooklyn Decker Quit Modeling After the SI Swimsuit Issue?

While Brooklyn Decker failed to follow up her last year’s triumph as cover model of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, she’s found other fields to conquer. With her starring debut in “Just Go With It” topping the box office last weekend, the bodacious blonde has turned her sights to an acting career. Brooklyn revealed to PopEater that her modeling days may be over. “I think so, I think so,” she replied when asked if she was ready to give up posing for layouts like this one. While we regret seeing Brooklyn leave the world of modeling, we can look forward to seeing more of her on the silver screen! Julie recently moved into a New York apartment with wealthy Colombian-American financier Alejandro Santo Domingo. “The Bachelor” Babes Model for SI

If you’ve been watching the ABC reality series “The Bachelor,” you know that the hunky Brad Womack has three hotties left to choose from this season. Monday night’s show found Brad and the final three—Ashley Hebert, Chantal O’Brien and Michelle Money—on the beach on Anguilla doing a photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. Ashley seemed like the fun-loving girl-next-door as she jumped in the air, while Chantal had no problems with taking off her top for the camera.

It was no big surprise when Irina Shayk was announced as this year’s SI Swimsuit cover girl on Monday night. Irina has been featured in the magazine for the last four years, but this is her first cover. The Russian bombshell is best known for modeling lingerie and swimsuits, as well as dating soccer stud Christian Ronaldo. Does Irina have acting ambitions like her predecessor Brooklyn Decker? “You never know because Sports Illustrated opens so many doors and I’m just trying to enjoy my moment and concentrate on my modeling career, but you never know where it takes you next.” When told she would be a perfect Bond Girl, Irina answered, “Well I would definitely be a Russian spy. I admit I’m disappointed that Brooklyn Decker lost out to Irina Shayk for the cover of the new SI Swimsuit issue. Sure, Irina’s gorgeous and sexy as they come, but there’s just something so all-American and wholesome about Brooklyn. She’s like the girl-next-door, but with a killer bod! Brooklyn has her first starring role in a feature film in “Just Go With It,” which topped the box office last weekend. This bodes well for her future as a film star. We’d better enjoy these shots of Brooklyn from SI, because by this time next year, she may be such a huge movie star that she has no time left for modeling!
