Kate Upton Makes Her Debut in SI Swimsuit Issue

Kate Upton hasn’t achieved supermodel status yet, but she’s definitely on her way! The 20-year-old Texas cowgirl with the adorable mole is now being seen in ads for the Guess line of denim and accessories, where she vamps it up in the tradition of previous Guess models Anna Nicole Smith and Claudia Schiffer. But her big break could be the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, which comes out today. Kate will be making her first appearance in the iconic magazine, where she was photographed on Boracay Island in the Phillipines. It’s a long way from Kate’s childhood, riding show horses in Ft. Some more conservative bastions of higher education have problems with coeds who pose for sexy photos, as former University of Louisville cheerleader Becca Manns found out the hard way a few years ago. After her jealous ex-boyfriend posted sexually explicit shots on Becca on the Internet, she was not only kicked off the cheering squad, but also booted out of school. Taylor Corley, the buxom Mississippi State University cheerleader pictured above, posed nude for Playboy under the name Taylor Stone last year. The photos have been around since November, and so far, the school hasn’t made any trouble for Taylor. She’s still on the squad and competes at last month’s UCA College National Championships. Irina Shayk is the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover Girl for 2011

Congratulations to the gorgeous Irina Shayk, who was chosen this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model. The big announcement was made during the taping of tonight’s “The Late Show with David Letterman,” when a massive billboard bearing her image was unveiled in New York City. The issue officially hits the stands on Tuesday, and a total of 17 models are featured inside, including last year’s cover model Brooklyn Decker. Keira Knightley is currently showing her serious side co-starring with “Mad Men” actress Elisabeth Moss on the London stage in a production of “The Children’s Hour,” but she’s best known for her part in the insanely popular Disney “Pirates” films. Alas, the newest installment of the franchise “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” debuts in May minus both Kiera and co-star Orlando Bloom. Keira looked back at her “Pirates” experience for British newspaper The Daily Telegraph: “I don’t know it’s kind of incomparable. “Pirates’ is a big huge Hollywood extravaganza. It’s based on a theme park ride so you’re not exactly diving into the theme park ride to grab the essence of it. It is what it is, it’s for fun and frivolity and I think there is a huge place for that, it’s escapism and we all need a bit of that. It’s hard to imagine Paris Hilton ever breaking a sweat, much less working hard at anything, but sources claim her latest BF has the heiress obsessed with working out. The former reality star hasn’t been in the news much lately, unless you count those drug arrests, so maybe it’s time for the faded “it girl” to reinvent herself. Paris’ romance with fitness buff and nightclub owner Cy Waits may be inspiring her to do just that. The source claims: “She has given up her lazy girl ways and is finally in a routine that has her hitting the gym five days a week. It’s all down to Cy. He spends two hours in the gym every day. Mila Kunis Swears She’ll Never Dance Again After “Black Swan”

After years of TV parts, Mila Kunis finally saw her career explode with her role as a ballerina in the acclaimed film “Black Swan.” As much as she loves the film, Mila told W magazine that she’ll never play another ballet dancer. “I will never dance again! The first time I saw the movie, I was like it’s great that the performance has been captured on film, because I will never put on those pointe shoes again.” Taking a role as a prima ballerina despite having no previous ballet experience proved daunting—and painful—for the 27-year-old actress. “I trained four months, seven days a week, five hours a day. I lost 20 pounds, I tore a ligament, I dislocated my shoulder. I have two scars on my back but it was worth every minute.” Even years of wearing stilettos didn’t prepare Mila for the pain of dancing on her toes. “I was like, I wear heels; I can do this. I was wrong. Christian Louboutins are uncomfortable, but I screamed the first time I put on a pointe shoe!” It’s hard to believe now, but the beautiful actress grew up without knowing how attractive she really was. “It’s not that I was raised to think I was unattractive, but it was just never something that was pointed out to me by my family. True Religion is one of those makers of ridiculously overpriced “premium” jeans that have been around for the last decade or so. Their jeans sell for about $170-350 at fancy stores like Neiman Marcus and trendy boutiques. They market their stuff as being “vintage” and “Bohemian,” which basically means they look like the used Levis you bought at Goodwill for $5. But a product this pretentious always seems to find a market, usually with model/actress/whatever types who have to be seen in the latest styles on the red carpet of whichever event they get invited to (or crash) this week. Since public tastes are fickle, brands like this have to come up with new ways to get your attention, True Religion’s spring 2011 campaign features stunning supermodel Candice Swanepoel in low-cut jeans and our favorite—cutoff shorts.
