Alessandra Ambrosio pays tribute to a 51-year-old icon in the new issue of Love magazine—Mattel’s Barbie doll! The Brazilian supermodel gets glossed up and plasticized to portray an array of themed dolls including Career Barbie, Cowboy Barbie, Collegiate Barbie and Daisy Duke Barbie. Career Barbie finds Alessandra saucily showing off her panties, making you wonder what kind of “career” the magazine had in mind. For Cowboy Barbie, Alessandra tips her hat and shows her sexy cleavage, while Daisy Duke Barbie is clad in the requisite short shorts and midriff-baring blouse. Alas, the photo doesn’t show whether she’s also wearing high heels.

“Roommate” Rules Super Bowl Weekend Box Office

Traditionally, movie studios release films that appeal to women over Super Bowl weekend, probably figuring some of them are dying to get out of the house. This year was no exception, with “The Roommate” taking the number one spot. Despite the familiarity of the plot, ripped off from “Single White Female” and a bunch of TV movies, the combination of “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly of “Friday Night Lights” scored $15.6M for the weekend. Killer special effects and a James Cameron connection couldn’t save “Sanctum 3D,” which came in second with $9.2M. The rest of the top ten is made up of holdovers that are still hanging in, some for several weeks. Proving the romcom isn’t dead after all, the Natalie Portman/Ashton Kutcher starrer “No Strings Attached” came in third in week three with a take of $8.4M. Oscar favorite “The King’s Speech” took fourth place with $8.3M, followed by “Green Hornet” with $6.1M.

The life of a supermodel looks glamorous—they’re always being photographed jetting off to exotic locales, going to A-list parties and dating rock stars, or movie stars or pro athletes. Cindy also did two eye-popping layouts for Playboy magazine, both shot by Herb Ritts. Cindy was briefly half of a superstar couple, when she was married to actor Richard Gere from 1991-1995.

Lea Michele plays the uptight, virginal Rachel Berry on the hit Fox TV show “Glee,” but her recent off-screen antics have some parents up in arms. The 23-year-old Lea’s not really a teen, but she plays one on TV, so some people expect her to be as innocent in real life as her TV alter ego. OTOH, the actress is red hot right now, and has a career to promote, and promote she does with magazine covers like this one for Cosmopolitan and a recent racy spread in GQ, where Lea and other cast members posed as naughty cheerleaders in their underwear.

Amber Heard Joins the Playboy Club for TV Series

The last Playboy Club closed years ago, but many men still remember them fondly—especially those Bunny outfits with the cute little fluffy tail! TV viewers too young to remember the heyday of the Playboy Club can relive those days when NBC’s drama “Playboy” hits the airwaves. “Pineapple Express” hottie Amber Heard is set to play a Bunny in the series, which will be set in a Playboy Club of the 1960s. Amber raised eyebrows—and dashed the hopes of millions of guys—when she came out as a lesbian at GLAAD’s 25th anniversary party last year. Amber’s currently in a relationship with girlfriend Tasya van Ree. The 24-year-old blonde beauty can be seen in three films this year—“The Ward,” “Drive Angry” and “The Rum Diary.” In the last, she co-stars with Johnny Depp and calls it “the best experience of my life.” We’ll have to wait awhile to see Amber in her Bunny suit, but for now we can admire these shots of her in the new Esquire.
