The “Mad Men” star is the spokesmodel for Vivienne Westwood’s new Get a Life palladium jewelry collection, and she certainly does the baubles justice. The ecologically minded actress is happy to support the earth-friendly line, and explained why: “Get a Life is about how we stop climate change and therefore preserve life for the next generation while at that same time get a better life. My focus at the moment is what one person can do. Stop climate change. Save the planet. This photo makes me long for the old days when only rock stars with talent got to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. Now every wannabe model and reality show hobag gets a turn. I’d rather have a root canal than watch even one episode of “Jersey Shore,” but my efforts to keep my life Snooki-free keep getting foiled by media like this. As ugly as this photo is, the text is worse.

Kim Kardashian Launches Singing Career

Do you really want to hear Kim Kardashian sing? I don’t, but I’m perfectly willing to look at these sexy promo shots for her new music! Kim’s debut single “Jam (Turn it Up)” was released to L.A.’s KIIS FM yesterday, and the reality babe celebrated by posting these hot photos on her site. She credits video director Hype Williams, who shot her sizzling Playboy layout in 2007, for the session’s appeal: “I swear Hype Williams is the most creative guy I know! He is a genius! Sex Symbol Jane Russell of “The Outlaw” Dies

Jane Russell didn’t even have to be seen on the screen to become an instant move star—the promo posters for her first film did it for her. Movie mogul Howard Hughes needed just one look—and one audition—to cast the voluptuous brunette in his epic Western “The Outlaw.” When the movie was released in 1943, prudes were scandalized by the suggestive posters showing Jane reclining on a stack of hay bales wearing a very low-cut blouse and teasing with lines like “How Would You Like to Tussle With Russell?” Jane became an instant sex symbol and pinup girl for World War II soldiers, going on to more sexy parts like her co-starring role with Marilyn Monroe in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.” Jane Russell died Monday at her home in Santa Maria, California.
