Daryl Hannah Owes Uncle Sam Big Bucks

The actress most famous for playing a mermaid finds her finances way underwater.

Daryl Hannah was a sexy mermaid in the 1984 film “Splash,” but now she’s drowning in debt! According to RadarOnline, the actress owes $62,622 in unpaid back taxes. Despite having a fortune of $15 million, the 50-year-old star had a lien filed against her last month by the state of California.

Hannah’s manager Chuck Binder doesn’t seem too disturbed about the whole thing, saying, “I just made a deal for her, so whatever kind of things that are owed, if she does owe, will get cleaned up next week.” I hope he and his client are taking this seriously, because the IRS sure does! Just ask Wesley Snipes or Willie Nelson!
