This celebrity couple has been split for a few months, but has promoting their new film helped them heal the rift?

Courteney Cox and David Arquette first met while filming the first of the “Scream” films years ago. They married, had a daughter, and split last year, with David’s substance abuse and erratic behavior being blamed for the breakup. Now they’re back together, at least onscreen for “Scream 4,” and the two are sounding very positive about each other. Could there be reconciliation in the works? When queried about the relationship, Courteney answered, “I don’t know. We’re not divorced. We couldn’t be in a better place. It’s better than before we were separated because we’re getting to know each other in a different way.”

Well, that sounds promising. David also sounded hopeful. “That’s all to be determined. It just has to be right for us both and if it is we’ll be together and if it’s not we’ll be apart, but we’ll be good to each other.” Good luck to one of our favorite couples —we’re rooting for you!
