Is the pop star misunderstood or just desperate for attention?

Lady Gaga has a new album coming out, so she’s making the media rounds. That means we can expect to see plenty of photos of her in practically nothing, like these from England’s New Musical Express. When she’s not posing in something that looks like saran wrap with a zipper, she’s whining about how some people don’t get what she’s doing. In her usual understated manner, the pop star told NME, “Let me tell you something. If you f****** rip my hairbow and my wig off my f****** head, my shoes, my bra, every single thing on my body, and you throw me on a piano with a microphone, I will f****** make you cry. I feel I have been probed endlessly about who the f*** I am. I have been quite open about it. And still nobody seems to have a clue.” Maybe if she didn’t look like a clown most of the time, we’d take Lady Gaga more seriously.
