“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” just hit theaters on Wednesday, but is already setting off million-dollar fireworks. Deadline Hollywood estimates that the film hit $40M on its first day and is expected to rake in $200M within a week. That could give the threequel the biggest opening day of 2011, topping the take of “Pirates of the Caribbean 4” in May. This certainly bodes well for model-turned-leading-lady Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who’s been busting her perky little butt decorating the red carpet of every “Transformers 3” premiere on the planet. Now all she has to do is avoid saying anything nasty about Michael Bay before he begins casting “Transformers 4.”
