It’s only Tuesday and already Lindsay Lohan is making the news. The seldom-employed actress dutifully reported to an L.A. county jail on Sunday to begin serving a 30-day sentence for violating her probation, but as usual, was released a few hours later due to overcrowding. This is not time Lindsay’s drawn a get-out-of-jail-free card and probably won’t be the last. While this news is not likely to be applauded by fans of truth, justice and the American way, it has to come as a relief to the editors of Playboy Magazine, since Lindsay is set to appear on the cover of the long-running publication’s January/February issue, due out next month. After paying Linds close to $1M for the layout, the mag had to do a second photo shoot after the first failed to produce a cover-worthy pic. Given Lindsay’s rapidly deteriorating looks, this isn’t much of a surprise, but now that she’s out of jail and devoting her time to finishing her community service, maybe she’ll be free if one more shoot becomes necessary.
