Another celeb couple called it quits!

This won’t set any records for the shortest marriage, but two years isn’t exactly “Until death do you part.” The unlikely couple of pop star Katy Perry and comic Russell Brand have parted, with the “Arthur” star filing for divorce. Brand told TMZ: “Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.” This news isn’t exactly a surprise, since Brand had been recently spotted in London minus his wedding band. There have been rumors of trouble in the marriage since summer, and the singer spent her Christmas solo in Kauai. These two have always seemed too different to make it in the long run, so this split was probably inevitable.
