Mariah Carey will be honored this fall by VH1. According to a press release, Mariah is receiving an honorary award for her dedication to VH1’s Save the Music Foundation at the group’s 10th anniversary gala, to be held on September 20 at New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. In addition, Jon Bon Jovi has been added to the event and he will perform as part of a tribute to founder John Sykes.
