Danny Noriega may have got the axe on ”American Idol” last Thursday, but someone is still willing to give him a shot! Rosie O’Donnell offered him a free cruise and a job singing with some other girls — her and Cyndi Lauper! Rosie O wrote a message for Danny on her blog:

“I don’t know if you have to sit around the American Idol studio and look sad for the next few weeks – because I think that’s part of the contract. [But] you got a free cruise. You and a friend. Come on there, and I want you to sing ‘Tainted Love.’ I think you’re fantastic. And I think you’re a bold and brave and beautiful young man.

And I admire you, Danny Noriega. You have an amazing voice. And you hair looks good straight.”

Rosie O’Donnell says she is not returning to “The View.” This comes after an on-air exchange with Elisabeth Hasselbeck last week that was heated, even by their standards. Rosie is such a jackass! And I think she finally realized it…well, maybe not. Brian Frons, president of ABC Daytime, had this to say:

“We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to The View and wish her well.”

Rosie O”Donnell is rallying the troops in her feud with Donald Trump: her close friend Madonna. “People are giving Rosie a hard time,” Madonna, who starred with O’Donnell in 1992’s A League of Their Own, said Thursday on NBC’s Today show. “I wish they’d stop. I don’t think it’s fair.”

The 48-year-old pop star told Today co-host Meredith Vieira that she’d first heard about the flare-up between O’Donnell and Trump while vacationing “in the middle of the Indian Ocean” and quickly e-mailed O’Donnell. 

America…you gotta love it!  You have the right to express your opinion, but most of the time nobody wants to hear it.  The same holds true with the opinions and thoughts of Rosie O’Donnell. I guess she really felt the need to express her 2 cents on the Tara Conner/Miss America Pageant/Donald Trump saga, so she let America know how she felt on The View (I can’t believe it or her are still on T.V.) yesterday. 

She has a problem with the fact that Tara was not de-crowned and also believes that Donald Trump is not in an ethical position to give her a second chance. I think Rosie is just upset because she wants to make an example out of Tara Conner.  Well, the fact is Donald Trump is now going to make an example of Rosie, suing her for opening her big mouth and making slanderous comments.
