Matt Damon Picked as Sexiest Man Alive
Matt Damon was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2007, topping a list that included other supposedly decent looking guys such as Patrick Dempsey, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Will Smith, and Ben Affleck. People had this to say:
You’ve given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime,” Damon, 37, told People, explaining why he couldn’t possibly accept the crown – which perfectly demonstrates many of the reasons we chose him in the first place: irresistible sense of humor, rock solid family man, heart-melting humility.”
And of course don’t forget the mega-million dollar films he’s been in, I’m sure that weighs in on the selection process as well.
Matt Damon Speaks About Scene With Angelina Jolie
Matt Damon recently spoke about his starring role in the movie The Good Shepherd, in which he stars and that is slated to hit theaters on December 22. This role, however, is not much of a stretch from his Bourne character. In Shepherd, Damon plays a CIA Agent whose life is in shambles; he works to improve the overall quality of life while doing the things that CIA Agents must do.
Damon said, “there was definitely some awkwardness with having to do a sex scene with Angelina Jolie.” Most guys out there are probably thinking, what’s his deal? But Damon is really good friends with Brad Pitt, so cut him some slack. Well, just a little anyway. Matt Damon concluded his comments concerning the intimate part with Jolie by saying, “he suffered through the scene.” That's what I would say, too.
Matt Damon Biography

After a few lean years, Matt Damon became Hollywood’s Golden Boy as the star and co-author of the sleeper hit “Good Will Hunting” (1997). With his clean-cut looks and killer smile, the Massachusetts-born actor began his career playing callow teens disillusioned by circumstances, whether he was successful or not. While still boyishly handsome, by the end of the 1990s, Damon had begun to undertake darker characters, attempting a gradual maturity. Still, he eschewed the brooding characters favored by contemporaries like Edward Norton in favor of the devilishly charming ones, along the lines of those essayed by the equally blond Matthew McConaughey.
