Madonna Gives Justin Timberlake His Birthday Cake
Justin Timberlake received a hell of a 27th birthday surprise on yesterday (January 31) when Madonna presented him with a cupcake and champagne on the set of her new video, a Modonna representative leaked.
The video clip for Madonna’s “4 Minutes to Save the World” is currently being shot in London and will feature JT as well as Timbaland. The song will appear on Madonna’s yet-to-be-titled album to be released later this year
Justin Timberlake Joins the PGA Tour
Justin Timberlake has just signed a five-year deal with the PGA Tour that will find him hosting a tournament in Las Vegas in 2008. The “Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open” will be played October 13-19 and will help raise funds for the Shriners group, which, by the way, provides medical care at no charge to children under 18 years old. JT will play in a celebrity-golf game that week as well, and had this to say on the subject:
“Raising money to better children’s lives while playing golf? I can’t think of a better way to pass the time.”
Kanye West Calls Timberlake His Biggest Rival
You read it right! Kanye West considers Justin Timberlake his biggest rival. “My biggest inspiration and biggest competition is Justin Timberlake the rapper told XXL magazine in its upcoming October issue. After last week’s mix with 50 Cent, Kanye takes his jab by not even mentioning Fiddy in comparison:
“If Justin hadn’t come out and killed the game, I can’t say that my album, singles and videos would be on the same level that they’re on. We push each other. I look at me and Justin like Prince and Michael Jackson in their day.”
Timberlake and Beyonce – Most MTV VMA Nominations
Justin Timberlake and Beyonce win the prize for most MTV Video Music Awards nominations with seven each. Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” was nominated for video of the year. Justin’s cinematic masterpiece, “What Goes Around … Comes Around,” which co-starred Scarlett Johansson, is also up for video of the year. I always love head-to-head competition!
The other nominees for video of the year are Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab,” Kanye West’s “Stronger,” Rihanna’s “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z and Justice’s “D.A.N.C.E.”
Justin was also nominated for male artist of the year and “most earth shattering collaboration” for pairing with Timbaland for “Sexy Back.” Beyonce was nominated for female artist of the year and for her collaboration with Shakira on “Beautiful Liar.”
Justin Timberlake Brings Baby-Back Ribs Back
Justin Timberlake will be celebrating the grand opening of his Southern Hospitality restaurant in NYC on Wednesday. Southern Hospitality will be serving “Cracker Cuisine,” Memphis-style food inspired by Timberlake family recipes. The restaurant will also be decorated by items found in Memphis flea markets.
The Tennessee-born star will run the restaurant with business pals Eytan Sugarman and Trace Ayala.
The Power Guys Under 30
Justin Timberlake, T.I. and Usher made Stuff magazine’s “30 Power Guys Under 30” list, which also includes actors Seth Rogen and Jake Gyllenhaal; athletes LeBron James, Reggie Bush, Tom Brady, Roger Federer, and also blogger Perez Hilton. T.I. shares his secret to staying on top in the magazine’s August issue, which hits newsstands Tuesday.
“You must create a demand and then supply it,” he explained. “You make so the market can’t function at its best without you.”
Justin Timberlake Starts Tennman Records
Justin Timberlake is starting up his own record label, a joint project with Interscope Records, was announced on Monday. JT will be chairman and CEO of Tennman Records, distributed by Interscope Geffen A&M. Tennman’s first signings will be announced in the coming weeks, but Justin did have this to say:
“We are all excited about the talent we have to offer already on our roster, and I cannot wait to introduce the world to my new discoveries.”
Justin Timberlake Teams Up with Reba McEntire
Justin Timberlake recently let the cat out of the bag and revealed to MTV that he had written and produced a new song for Reba McEntire. However, Justin failed to mention that he’ll also be singing with the country queen as well. Hey, he’s kicking ass in the pop world, why not cowboy up?!

Laugh your ass off and make your vote count! Justin Timberlake’s “Dick in a Box” comedy short could make this season’s “Best of SNL” special that is set to air on May 5. However, we the people must decide if it makes the cut, and in my opinion it should because it’s funny as hell (click to view).

Scarlett Johansson Doesn’t Kiss and Tell
There have been rumors, but did Scarlett Johansson have a fling with Justin Timberlake recently? Of course, Scarlett is not saying. “We live in a world today where if two people are single, and one’s a guy and one’s a girl and they’re both famous, you’re going to be linked with somebody,” the 22-year-old actress tells Seventeen magazine’s May issue.
“If it’s somebody one week, it’s going to be somebody else the next week. It’s either me or Jessica Biel,” Johansson says with a laugh.
