50 Cent Quits Singing… Already?
50 Cent, who is in a much-hyped battle of album sales with Kanye West, has just canceled several performances in Europe. MTV News said the 31-year-old rapper canceled performances at the MOBO Awards and the Vodafone Live Music Awards, both in London on Wednesday, and a performance for MTV in Germany on Friday. No details were posted on the rapper’s Web site, and Polydor Records, 50 Cent’s record label in Britain, wasn’t immediately available for comment.
MTV said the rapper canceled the appearances due to changes in his schedule. What gives Fiddy? Are you keeping your word with Kanye?
Kanye West Rocks Fiddy in Album Sales
Early sales figures show that Kanye West is winning the battle against 50 Cent. Yep, according to Nielsen Soundscan, Kanye’s new album Graduation has moved 431,000 copies on its day of release in the US, compared to only 310,000 copies of 50 Cent’s Curtis. Fiddy if going to have to eat his words!
50 Cent Is Not Scared of Kanye West
50 Cent is feeling damn cocky about his face off with Kanye West. Their albums will go head to head when released on September 11, 50 with Curtis and Kanye with Graduation. In an interview posted on SOHH.com on Friday, Fiddy threatened to end his rap career if he gets upstaged by Kanye.
“If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I’ll no longer write music,” he said. “I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out anymore solo albums.”

50 Cent is going into the ring, but not to fight. The rapper is schedule to perform his new song “Straight to the Bank” live for the first time at the highly anticipated WBC Super Welterweight Championship fight between “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather and “The Golden Boy”
Oscar de la Hoya on May 5 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand. 50 cent will also lead Mayweather’s entourage into the ring. I guess there will be no mistaking who 50 is backing.

The 21-year old singer Ciara said she wants to have her first child in about four years, but wants to get more established in her career first. Then she will settle down with "a great man." Ciara also said that great man is not 50 Cent. Well, at least not right now. The single Crunk & B singer is denying that she and 50 Cent have something going on despite rumors that the two were spotted riding together through Queens a few weeks ago.
