Kady, Luke, Asia’h, and Danny Leave American Idol
“American Idol” had to kick off two more guys and two more girls, but not before beat-boxing Blake Lewis started the show off with his new song. After that, the drama once again surrounded the reality of the show and the departure of four Idol hopefuls. Over 36 million votes poured in this week after the guys and girls performed, but who got the boot?
Here they are the wannabes in the order in which they were released. Say goodbye to:
Kady Malloy – She was great when she imitated Britney Spears, but she needed to sing like a real pop star!
Luke Menard – He never really had the talent. He was always just a “good” singer, but not great.
Asia’h Epperson – She auditioned with the show just days after her father passed away and I know she wanted this to happen, but it wasn’t meant to be. We wish her the best!
Danny Noriega – The last two guys standing were Chikeze and Danny — and I was happy Danny got the axe. I think he was original and was totally himself, but he is not what America wants. No hard feelings.
Yeager, Lushington, Whitaker, Carrico Voted Off Idol

Idol Time: It’s that time of the week and that means two guys and two girls are leaving the confines of “American Idol” and will be sent back out into the real world. They don’t have to go home — they just can stay there!
Jason Yeager and Numb Nuts were the two guys the viewing voters sent home. Simon said of Jason, “You’re not a bad singer, you just don’t have any charisma or stage presence.” Robbie Carrico sang “Hot Blooded” on Tuesday night, but he left the judges cold blooded and he left the show.
For the ladies, the first person having to leave tonight was Alexandrea Lushington. Last week she had issues and her performance this week wasn’t much better. The results were inevitable. The second Idol girl sent home was Alaina Whitaker and she really broke down — I though she was going to faint at first! Alaina almost didn’t sing her “fairwell” song, but the remaining women walked up on stage to help her finish out her Idol career.
So there you have. No real surprises except for Alaina. Anyone that watched the show would have thought Amanda Overmyer should have been voted off, but I guess she’s getting the “hippie -rocker” vote. What else can we add?
Idol: It’s Brooke White Versus David Archuleta

Last night on “American Idol,” Brooke White arguably deleirved the best girls performance and in doing so won the approval of the judges. Brooke appears to be the only girl in a position to rival the guy favorite, David Archuleta.
Brooke White sang “You’re So Vain” as she played her guitar and looked at judge Simon Cowell. Randy Jackson and judge/returned-singer Paula Abdul thought the song went perfectly with her voice and Simon said he “absolutely loved it.”
Carly Smithson sang “Crazy On You.” Randy Jackson thought the beginning was a bit rough, but the performance was great. Paula Abdul said she did a great job, of course. Simon even said he believes she is the girl to beat, but that was prior to Brooke’s superior performance.
Kristy Lee Cook was definitely the most improved of the week — and she sang “You’re No Good.” Randy said it was a “100% improvement,” and we all agree!
American Idol Contestants Revealed!

“American Idol” Spoiler: In posts on IdolForums.com, someone using the name “JoesPlace” has listed the names, ages, home cities and MySpace pages of contestants that actually make it to Hollywood next year. Once they get to H-town, judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson will cut the top 50 down to the top 24. And it appears that the “American Idol” contestant list may be legitimate based on information contained within the MySpace pages of the alleged “Idol” contenders.
According to “JoesPlace,” the list began back in late October and found the contestants “through media and word of mouth.” He asks that:
“…if you know any of these contestants or can add any info, just message me. You will remain completely anonymous. Nothing will be posted that you don’t want. I would appreciate any hints, spoilers, news or info. No info is too small. … Anything is helpful.”
