Yesterday Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn, his daughter with Anna Nicole Smith, left the Bahamas and traveled to his home state of Kentucky. The long awaited trip finally took place after they received the go-ahead to leave the island country.  “It just feels good to be home,” Birkhead said after stepping off a private plane. Hey, there’s no place like home.

Wouldn’t you know it? Where there is money, there is Anna Nicole Smith. I can honestly say I’m not surprised. As it turns out, two diaries Anna Nicole wrote during the early 1990s were sold for today for $59,750 after failing to sell at a recent auction. An unnamed record-company executive was the buyer. It’s probably not “Gone with the Wind,” but who knows, it might be worth reading.

Larry Birkhead the Father of Dannielynn Smith

Well, if you had your money on Larry, then it’s time to cash in. Former boyfriend Larry Birkhead was declared the father of Anna Nicole Smith‘s baby today, and Howard K. Stern, listed as Dannielynn’s father on the birth certificate, said he would not fight for custody. ” My feelings for Dannielynn have not changed,” said Stern, who was Smith’s lawyer and live-in companion. “I am not going to fight Larry Birkhead on custody. We’re going to do what we can to make sure that the best interests of Dannielynn are carried out. And I’m going to do whatever I can to make sure he gets sole custody,” Stern said outside the Bahamian courthouse where the DNA test results were disclosed.

Anna Nicole’s Burial Put on Hold

  The Anna Nicole saga continues.  A Florida appeals court ruled that her burial be put on hold until her estranged mother gets to say her share in the courtroom.  TMZ Reports: A Florida appeals court issued a stay Monday in the dispute over Anna Nicole Smith‘s body, ruling that her remains cannot be moved to the Bahamas until the court hears a challenge from the former Playmate’s estranged mother, Virgie Arthur. Arthur had filed a motion with Judge Larry Seidlin, asking him to reconsider Friday’s ruling which paved the way for Anna to be buried on the Bahamas. He denied that request. Arthur also filed an appeal with the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, which has now agreed to hear the challenge.

A new video tape was released showing Anna Nicole clearly stoned out of her mind while Howard sees nothing but $$$ signs flashing before his eyes. TMZ reports: A stunning video shows a barely functional Anna Nicole Smith, stammering and stuttering, as Howard K. Stern rhapsodizes about how much money the clip will be worth. The tape, which aired Monday night on Greta Van Susteren’s show on FOX News Channel, shows an eight-months pregnant Smith, her face painted like a clown and clearly stoned out of her mind. As she talks to a doll in a baby carriage as if it’s real, Stern repeatedly says, “Is this a mushroom trip?” He then adds, “I’m kidding.” Another part of the tape shows Smith even more out of it. Anna Nicole Smith Dies Today

NewsToob has just learned that Anna Nicole Smith has died today at age 39. The cause of her death is unknown, but with the fairly recent death of her son, ongoing issues, and a history of past drug use in her life, one would have to suspect that an unintentional drug overdose of possibly suicide is to blame. Smith collapsed and was found unresponsive while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino in Florida, said the attorney, Ron Rale. She was rushed to a hospital. "She checked in Monday at 8 p.m. as a guest. She was due to check out tomorrow," said Danielle Giordaano, a spokeswoman for the hotel. Source

Dr. Cyril Wecht, forensic toxicologist who performed the autopsy on her son Daniel, who died last September, suggested to MSNBC TV several possibilities for Anna Nicole Smith‘s death, including viral pneumonia, drug-related causes or a genetic heart defect which also played a factor in her son’s death. When you have sudden, unexpected death, there aren’t too many things that can do that,” said Wecht. “You look to the heart and see what produces the cardiac arrhythmia.”It has been alleged that Smith used methadone, a powerful opiate-based treatment, while pregnant. “Drugs could be involved here,” Wecht told MSNBC. “They may not be the total answer, but coupled with a genetic predisposition, methadone is a drug that is known to produce that kind of a problem in which the heart begins to beat irregularly.” Toxicology results from an autopsy are not expected for several days. Anna Nicole Smith Baby Case: Paternity Test Please

A judge in the Anna Nicole Smith baby dispute has given the former Playboy Playmate until Jan. 23 to have her daughter undergo paternity testing sought by a former boyfriend, the man’s attorney said. Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider ruled in favor of the 39-year-old Smith’s ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead last month. Birkhead claims he’s the father of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, who was born Sept. 7 in the Bahamas.
