It is just that we do not get to see as much of Avril as some of us would like. Avril Lavigne has decided to embrace her role as model and given us these nice photos from Q Magazine. Avril is actually a very hot rocker! These are some of the first pictures I’ve seen that haven’t involved the middle finger or an offensive belt buckle. I guess marriage has calmed Avril down! There’s been rumors about the marriage breaking up, but if I was her loser, err husband, I wouldn’t let her go with pics like these. In other news, Avril Lavigne was recently honored at the AG Hair Cosmetics’ 8th Annual Best Canadian Hair Awards for her pink highlights. She won the award for the best hair do among Canadian musicians. Wow, they they finally have music in Canada? Way to go!

Avril Lavigne made it out to the MTV Europe Music Awards and did so in style. Avril typically goes a bit alternative with her dresscode, but she stayed a bit more conservative this time around. I don’t know if Avril took home any music awards, but I am sure she did… she did have a pretty good year, despite all the controvery surrounding her song stealing. The famous pop singer Avril Lavigne and her husband Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 have purchased a $9.5-million mansion in L.A. Must be nice for such a simple skater girl. What a sell out! The husband and wife of 9 months have bought a magnificent Tuscan-style home in Bel-Air with three stories, eight bedrooms, and 10-1/2 bathrooms. Dang, that’s a lot of shitters! The new mansion also has an elevator, sauna and garage space for 10 cars. When’s the party?
