Eva Longoria At The 2008 ALMA Awards Nominations

Eva Longoria at the 2008 ALMA Awards Nominations

Now doesn’t Eva Longoria look just great at the 2008 ALMA Awards Nominations?  I finally see what Tony Parker sees in this woman.  Only kidding, I notice long ago that Eva was quite a catch!

There’s something different about her though, maybe it’s her hair.  Yeah she must have whacked it off or got it styled.  What can I say…normally I don’t pay attention to these details, usually I’m looking elsewhere!

Adriana Lima 2008 ESPY Awards in LA

Wow, check out Adriana Lima at the 2008 ESPY Awards.  These are the kind of pictures that make my day go much easier, especially when it’s Friday! Those legs of Adriana’s just go on for miles and miles and bring me smiles and smiles!

Tell me, how in the hell did this guy get lucky enough to even be within 10 feet of Adriana, much less marry her? He’s just lucky… and rich, too! I, of course, was busy that day or it’d have been me strutting down the carpet with Adriana Lima! Hey, I’m not frontin’!

Carrie Underwood Photos from the Country Music Awards

Carrie Underwood 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards

Carrie Underwood looked and sounded great at the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards over the weekend and it’s not a fluke! We’ve seen Carrie looking great before — well, OK, all the time– and she did manage to take home two CMA awards at the recent award show.

And although Carrie Underwood may be the most popular “American Idol” ever according to a recent poll, she’s got some young and blonde competition on the way — and she answers to the name of Taylor Swift. Taylor took home the award for Best New Female Vocalist.

Among the performers was Canadian singer Nelly Furtado, wearing a skin-tight white dress and stick-straight hair, who debuted her new single Say It Right as smoke swirled around the stage. Beyoncé began the show, belting out her single ‘Irreplaceable’ while dancing in a sparkly sequined minidress. The Pussycat Dolls, Barry Manilow and Lionel Richie also performed.

New mom Gwen Stefani made a stylish return to the music scene, wearing a skimpy sequined shift to perform the single Wind It Up from her forthcoming album, The Sweet Escape. The newly single Spears looked sleek in a knee-length cream-coloured frock and long blond hair. The ceremony included a skit in which a Kevin Federline lookalike was put into a wooden crate and dumped into the ocean. Host Jimmy Kimmel cracked that Federline was the world’s first “no-hit wonder.” Oscar winner Jamie Foxx was named favourite male soul/rhythm and blues artist. “I’m like a rookie in this music thing,” he said. “This means a lot more than you think, man.” Foxx wore a white tuxedo and sat behind a grand piano to perform Wish U Were Here from his 2005 album, Unpredictable. Dancehall singer Sean Paul was named favourite male artist in the category.
