David Letterman kicked off the new year by opening “The Late Show” with a brand-spanking new Lincoln-like beard. Letterman’s beard has received a lot of buzz, but is it really a big deal? I thought his hair was always the topic of conversation? I guess his fans will either love it or hate it! Letterman says he will keep growing his beard until the Writer Strike ends.

Jay Leno should have considered this years ago as a way to cover up that ugly mug!
