Nothing proves that a young actress has been anointed as the latest “it girl” like being chosen as face of a pricey, prestigious designer label. “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively is obviously this year’s fashion star, not only being hand picked by Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld to embody the brand’s Mademoiselle handbag line, but also photographed for the ads by the designer himself. Blake has been spotted at some of the hottest designer shows at Paris Fashion Week and has even had a shoe named after her by Christian Louboutin.
