The 2008 Academy Awards went off with out a hitch! And many happy celebrities walked away with a highly-coveted Oscar. But as great as winning an Oscar may be, the real fun is checking out what the women are wearing to the big show. If you didn’t watch the Academy Awards, don’t worry because you really didn’t miss much.

Now, let’s get down to the Oscar fashion show. Here are the notable mentions — both good and bad: Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz, Diane Lane, Ellen Page, Heidi Klum, Hilary Swank, Jennifer Garner (yikes!), Jessica Alba, Katherine Heigl, Penelope Cruz, and Renee Zelwegger (who looked like she slept in her dress and forgot to run a brush through her hair prior to these red carpet pictures).

Hilary Swank enjoying her 33rd birthday

Hilary Swank got away this weekend to get some fun in the sun St. Regis Resort, Monarch Beach in Dana Point, Calif..  Hilary was swept away to this fabulous resort by her man John Campisi and enjoyed a little surfing with some Swedish massages afterwards.  A guest at the resort said:

"Hilary was catching some waves and she was standing up! She had on a pink wetsuit and smiled the whole morning."

I figured I would post a few pictures of Hilary Swank today since I have failed to do so in the past. This versatile actress has done it all, from a high-class woman, to a boxer, to actually acting as a man. I like Hilary because she is good looking, but not so much that I think I don’t have a chance with her (yeah right).

Plus, she keeps that body of hers in great shape and I think her last names gives her a bit of a swagger — Hilary Swank! And we all know we like that!
