Nick Hogan Is A Free Man… Uh Boy, I Mean
Nick Hogan was released from a Florida county jail earlier this morning after he served 6 of the 8 months he was sentenced to a while back. In case you have forgotten Nick was arrested for reckless driving and damn near killing an Iraq war veteran, who is in a permanent vegetable state now. TMZ reports:
“Nick Hogan was released from Pinellas County Jail just after midnight Tuesday morning. We’re told he arrived back at his mom Linda’s house to a thumping party, replete with loud music and cops surveying the scene. Nick pleaded no contest to a felony charge of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury back in May. He was sentenced to eight months but only served the aforementioned 166 days due to “good time” credit. His best friend, John Graziano, remains hospitalized and will require medical care the rest of his life.”
On a positive note, at least Nick’s brother Brooke Hogan showed up to greet him with a hug.
Khloe Kardashian Is Going To Serve Some Time
Well, it was about time for another celebrity to head off to jail. This time it’s none other than C-lister Khloe Kardashian. Khloe’s sister, Kim Kardashian, shared on her blog that Khloe would be sentenced to 30 days in jail for a DUI she received last year.

That’s some damn good advice, huh? Don’t drink and drive, wow I haven’t heard that one for years upon years! I wonder if Khloe will actually serve the whole 30 day sentence?
Wesley Snipes Gets Three Years in Prison
Action star Wesley Snipes just got the smack-down! He was sentenced to the maximum three-year sentence for not filing tax returns. Prosecutors had requested the sentence, one year for each of Snipes’s convictions, saying the star of “Blade 3″ and “Demolition Man” had “engaged a campaign of criminal tax conduct, combining outright defiance with insidious concealment”, telling the US District Court in Florida he failed to pay at least $2.7 million in taxes.
Richie Sambora Arrested for DUI
Police have confirmed that Richie Sambora has been arrested on a DUI charge in Laguna Beach, California. The Bon Jovi guitarist was pulled over just before 11 pm last night after police said they spotted Richie driving eraticaly on the road!
Richie was driving his Hummer and was with three unidentified women, one adult and two juveniles.
Lindsay Lohan Lives in America: Blames Everyone But Herself!
Lindsay Lohan has blamed her meltdown last year on her family life, she stated in a recent interview. Yes, she was arrested on DUI charges and served 84 minutes in jail. And yes, she spent the summer in a Utah rehab center. But it’s not her fault!
“When I look back on this year, it’s like, what was I thinking? I wasn’t taking any time to just sit and live and breathe. I was going, going, going, and that ran me down. It was a stressor. It upset me. I didn’t have a father to call, and that was a lot of the pain. Seriously, I was just running away from what my home had become.”
Lindsay also blames the media for blowing her situations out of proportion:
“The cameras are constantly there, and they’re constantly looking for the negative. So one roll of the eyes and you’re deemed drunk. Thy can declare, ‘Lindsay drunk in the day!’ Which I never was in my life, actually.”
Mindy McCready Released From Jail
Paris Hilton may have been the biggest celebrity to go to jail this year, but she wasn’t the only. Country singer Mindy McCready was granted early release from Tennessee’s Williamson County Jail Sunday after more than five months in lockup on a probation violation charge.
“I’m so happy to be out,” the 32-year-old singer said. “I’m the happiest girl in the world right now.”
Five months in jail, Mindy? It WAS NOT good to you! On the bright side, there is a country song in there somewhere.
Kiefer Sutherland Is Heading To Jail – Does Not Pass Go
The 24 star Kiefer Sutherland is heading to the slammer for a 48 day sentence, reports People.
Sutherland, wearing a black suit and tie, arrived at a downtown L.A. courtroom 15 minutes early for his 3:30 (pacific coast time) sentencing hearing. The actor, 40, previously agreed to serve 48 days in jail for his second DUI conviction and violating probation.
I’d have love to seen the sentence be 24 days instead of 48 just for some laughs.
Foxy Brown Not Pregnant, Still Going to Jail
Earlier last week we found out Foxy Brown would be heading to the slammer for a year and that she was also pregnant. Well at least one of these pieces of news is true. She IS still going to jail, but it turns out she isn’t pregnant. Her Manager had this to say:
“And to the pregnancy rumors, this is the official statement: She is not pregnant.”
