Jamie Lynn Spears welcomed in a little baby girl this morning, Maddie Briann. With all the drama in the Spears’ lives it doesn’t surprise me one bit that Jamie Lynn picked a whacked out name like that for her daughter. Who am I to judge though, I’m sure it will all work out for the best in redneck-land y’all!

People magazine reports:

Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”

Well sure everyone is happy and healthy right now, but just wait until little Maddie is all grown up. Auntie Britney will surely show her how to act like a proper lady!  Oh how I hope I am still around to see that shit-storm!

Jamie Lynn Spears‘ stalker and pro paparazzo, Edwin Merino, was  arrested last week, but who really cares? The only person really impacted is Merino, who paid $1,143 and was (released on the very same day). If Jamie Lynn had been in an actual state, and not Louisiana, nothing really would happened. Here’s more on the incident from FOX News (in case you were sleeping):

“Authorities in Liberty, a small town in southwest Mississippi near the Louisiana border, said Merino wouldn’t leave the pregnant Spears and her fiance, Casey Aldridge, alone. Merino denied the accusations in a phone interview Wednesday with The Associated Press.

He said that he was about 200 feet (60 meters) away from the couple using a long lens when he was arrested at a gas station….Merino said he had little luck taking pictures of the couple and was preparing to leave the area….”The one picture I got was kind of by luck,” he said. “I got lucky when I saw them at Wal-Mart when I was buying deodorant.”

The older sister from hell, better known as Britney Spears, refuses to attend Jamie Lynn’s wedding to her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge. Word on the street is that Jamie Lynn asked Britney to be the maid of honor, but Bitchney told her “hell would freeze over” before she would attend the wedding! An insider said:

“When Jamie Lynn asked her, Britney laughed sarcastically down the phone. She told her hell would freeze over before she’d stand as her maid of honor then hung up on her.”

A close friend claims that Britney is still boiling over the fact that she learned of Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy through a magazine article — and is still full of resentment. Britney may be upset, but it’s probably only because she’s having to share the attention now with her baby sister!

Miley Cyrus has spoken up — and she says she is proud of 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears for the way she is dealing with her pregnancy. Miley says Jamie Lynn, star of “Zoey 101,” has done the everything she can do, and continues:

“We’ve actually been talking. She’s now really excited, so I’m proud of her. I think she’s done the best she can.”

How true this may or may not be I’m not really sure, but there’s a rumor stirring around that Lil’ Romeo could be the father of Jamie-Lynn’s unborn child.  True or not, this pregnancy really could not have come at a worst time. As if the Spears’ family needed more drama to add to all the shit Britney’s pulled lately.
