Katharine McPhee just manages to brighten up my day no matter how bad it’s going.  Those killer legs of hers just go on for miles and miles.  In case you didn’t know that isn’t her only unique quality…she does sing pretty good too!

Here’s a handful of pictures from the Grammy Foundation’s Annual Signature Starry Night Gala.  Katharine McPhee had to be one of the brightest shining stars attending this event.

Former “American Idol” standout and current free-agent Katherine McPhee and Nick Cokas were married Saturday at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church. The 23-year-old Katharine met Nick, 42, in 2005 when they performed in “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.” The couple were engaged last year and yes, it’s final!

Katharine wore a strapless Manuel Mota gown while Nick wore an Armani tux. “(Nick) is the love of my life. This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect,” McPhee told People.

Billboard magazine reported today that former “American Idol” contestant Katharine McPhee has parted ways with her record label! Katharine follows in the blue suede shoes of Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard - both Ruben and Taylor lost their RCA contracts. Katharine McPhee’s first and only album, Katharine McPhee, sold a mere 366,000 copies. One day it’s McPhee, the next it’s McFlee!

“We always said from day one that ‘American Idol’ is a reality show. And being a reality show, we reflect the reality of the record business, which is it is unpredictable. Certain people you don’t think are going to do as well as expected. Chris Daughtry is a good example, because he only came in fourth.
